I suppose we could have looked better despite no change in W/L record. I don't recall as I was just ready for that era to be over.

He is the ONLY one that can play with his back to the basket. He proved he was dangerous doing it the 2nd half of last season but he just doesn't fit well into Mills' offense and seldom gets a good entry pass even when he is in good position. Not KP's fault !Brummett throws, STRUCK HIM OUT! THE SHOCKERS ARE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS! AN UNBELIEVABLE STORY!

Honestly, I think with Mills, he’s expecting players to have better fundamentals than the guys we have. What he’s saying is hard to train out of players, like jumping on fakes, etc. He’s fighting against instincts that have been formed across years and years of basketball, while trying to install a new offense and defense and everything.
The more I watch our team and see us miss completely open shots, the more I sympathize with Mills. I find it difficult to believe he’s not trying to correct the back cut issue that is a free bucket multiple times every game for the opposition. But again, instincts in the players or they’re straight up just bad. Who knows.

Now I can 100% blame him for banking too hard on Abmas and not getting a better PG in place than even Cortes.
